This little guy goes by the nickname Monster. Taking photographs of him and his family was fun. It made me remember how important our pets are to us and how they enrich our lives.

Trash the Dress

This may not be for everyone...

but do you remember when you were a little girl and you weren't allowed to get your pretty dress dirty? Do you have an old but beautiful dress in your closet? Well, if you are one of those girls that wants to get gorgeous and dirty than this is for you! Oh to feel beautiful and dirty at the same time. Imagaine how much fun that would be!

Such a Pleasure to Work With!

I have had the honor of photographing this little guy more than once and I just had to share it with you. He is full of such energy and fun. This photograph is one of my personal favorites from the session. Such a happy and honest look all rolled into one. I just love this little guy!

Summer End

About Me

Five things you may or may not know.
~ I developed my first roll of black and white film when I was 14 years old.
~ I feel forever linked to those I photograph; it is after all very personal.
~ I have the most wonderful mentor to help me on my photographic journey, and she is a fabulous photographer herself.

"I Love Your Funny Face"

The most common question people ask me is, “How did you come up with your name?” Well, for all that know me you know that I am a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn. My very first favorite movie was the first one that I watched while I was in my teens, that being My Fair Lady. Of course she piqued my interest and so I continued to find movies that she played in. One of my favorite movies is Funny Face. Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire team up for this musical which also features songs by George and Ira Gershwin including “I Love Your Funny Face.” To me everyone and everything I photograph is unusual, funny, and most important – beautiful. ~Shelly
