Girls Girls Girls

I am so honored to have been asked to take photographs of these two sisters once again. I just love them, love to watch them grow and I love to watch them smile. The rest of their family is just as wonderful. I am hopelessly addicted to the families that I get to photograph, you can quote me on that! ~Shelly

“Girls blush, sometimes, because they are alive, half wishing they were dead to save the shame. The sudden blush devours them, neck and brow; They have drawn too near the fire of life, like gnats, and flare up bodily, wings and all. What then? Who's sorry for a gnat or girl?”Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Brotherly Love

Brotherly Love
Boys will be boys! These two already make a great duo. This is one of the most honest photographs of the brothers together. Each one tells his story, and their stories together will be amazing.

Pets are family too!

This little guy goes by the nickname Monster. Taking photographs of him and his family was fun. It made me remember how important our pets are to us and how they enrich our lives.

I feel it...Fall is here.

I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne

"I Love Your Funny Face"

The most common question people ask me is, “How did you come up with your name?” Well, for all that know me you know that I am a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn. My very first favorite movie was the first one that I watched while I was in my teens, that being My Fair Lady. Of course she piqued my interest and so I continued to find movies that she played in. One of my favorite movies is Funny Face. Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire team up for this musical which also features songs by George and Ira Gershwin including “I Love Your Funny Face.” To me everyone and everything I photograph is unusual, funny, and most important – beautiful. ~Shelly
